Pedicab Joint Operation - West End

Westminter City Inspectors carried out a joint Pedicab Operation with the West End Police teams. 

Westminster City Inspectors were joined by Transport for London officers and managers during the patrol alongside the West End policing teams.  Names and details were taken for two pedicab riders on Wellington Street for Control of Pollution Act offences.  Numerous pedicabs were moved on from outside the Lyceum Theatre, Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus and Cambridge Circus.  Officers from TfL engaged with some stationary pedicabs and spoke to the about the licensing scheme due to start next year, directing them the TfL website via a QR code.  After the interactions, the pedicabs seen later during the patrol were generally compliant.
